Become a member of ACPN
The Alcohol Control and Policy Network (ACPN) is a network of likeminded organizations that seeks to advocate for the implementation of evidence based alcohol and public health policies and programs in Kenya.
The members of ACPN share a common concern that Alcohol is no ordinary commodity and is a major obstacle to development. ACPN comprises organisations, institutions and individuals who accept and observe the conditions for membership. Membership is free of charge..
Full membership in the ACPN may be granted to any organisation or any institution, or any foundation, that fully endorses fully the ACPN platform and requires its members to lead a life free from the use of alcohol. They shall have full voting rights in the Annual Congress and their members are eligible to hold any office within the ACPN Board and committees.
Individuals may be granted membership to ACPN if they endorse the ACPN platform. Individuals have no voting rights in the Congress but may speak and are eligible to hold any office within ACPN.
Your application will be evaluated by the ACPN board. If your application is approved, you will receive further information by email.
ACPN is consistently growing with a current membership of 20 Member Organizations spread out within 9 counties (Nairobi, Kiambu, Kajiado, Machakos, Kitui, Kakamega, Kisii, Siaya, Kisumu) in Kenya. At ACPN we provide safe and enabling environments, open to all. We lead by example.
ACPN is the local chapter of the East Africa Alcohol policy alliance which was also established in 2009 in Arusha, Tanzania to lobby East African governments to develop and implement evidence based Alcohol policies.
